The day offers something for everyone with a varied mix of producer stalls, live music, cookery demonstration, sampling and activities for children, all in the tranquil setting of Lochinch Castle grounds and the Victorian Courtyard.

The Festival is part of the Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight and flavour fortnight, championing the Dumfries and Galloway food and drink producers of our area. Stalls include home baking, cakes, chocolate, cup cakes, pork and bacon, beef and cheeses, real ales, jams, chutneys, ice cream, deli produce and fruit and vegetables. Local craft and plant stalls will also be participating.

‘We have a full day of activities planned for the whole family including tasty sampling of everything from beef to ice cream, inspiring menu ideas from Douglas Lisi, live music and children’s activities on the castle lawn. We hope we’ve created another exciting celebration of delicious local produce and encourage you to experience and support our local producers at this event,’ said Lady Stair.
