Garden & Tearoom Opening Good Friday- September 30 2018 and all year with Honesty Box. Easter Egg Hunt over the Easter Week-end

Much work has been accomplished at Glenwhan Gardens in 2018 with the renewal of bridges, making new beds, cutting old and past their sell by date. We have lost 3 Embothrium (th chilean firebush) and several very large Eucalyptus trees. Sad, but making way for new vistas and new plantings which is always exciting. The gales and the odd hurricane blew the roof of the polytunnel, and the constant rain has not helped. Roll on a lovely Summer.
For Anyone keen on Rhododendrons we are holding a Event as part of the Rhododendron Festival celebrating the genus. April 29th 2018 there will be a Walk with Tessa meeting for a drink at the Entrance to the gardens, before setting off at 11am. She will show the Highlights and explain how she started to transform 12 acres of wild moorland into the delightful garden with wonderful views over the sea.
