Light refreshments including wine and beer will be available from the Castle Kennedy Gardens tea room.

‘The Railway Children open air production in July was a wonderful success with many families really enjoying the unique atmosphere of outdoor theatre against the stunning backdrop of Castle Kennedy ruins and the beautiful surrounding gardens. Emma is a lovely story and we and we look forward to welcoming guests to join us in the gardens for a unique and different evening of entertainment,’ said Lady Emily Stair.

Guests can bring a picnic, low back seating and rugs to enhance enjoyment of the performance. Admission will be from 6pm (performance commences at 7pm) and a marquee will be available should the weather be wet.

A number of events will be taking place over the summer months including Lochinch Castle Summer Art Festival (20 July – 29th July), garden walks, bird watching from the new bird hide and children’s activities from pond dipping to kite building.
