The storms at Logan Botanic Garden

The clear up operations at Logan Botanic Garden is almost complete in the wake of the severe weather on Tuesday January 3rd. Over the past few weeks the garden has lost nearly 10 trees with others requiring further investigation and work. In comparison with the other other RBGE sites the garden has got off lightly but some notable specimens such as a champion Eucalyptus moorei have been lost.

Spring has come early at Logan with snowdrops, crocus, daffodils and camellias all currently putting on an impressive display.
